Constituents: Tannins (up to 8%), Flavonoids, Bitters, Volatile oil, Coumarins, Polysaccharides (20%).
Actions: Astringent, Diuretic, Anti-inflammatory, Tonic.
Childhood diarrhoea, mucous colitis, leukorrhoea.
Cystitis urinary incontinence, chronic nasopharyngeal catarrh.
GI tract, soothes acidity, improves digestive secretions, assimilation and absorption, chronic appendicitis +Cleavers, Poke root.
Restores liver, stomach, and pancreas.
Soothing and healing to the GI tract, acts gentle, not for severe cases.
Herbal extract: 15-30mL per week.
Energetics: Cooling, drying, astringent, bitter.
Meridians: liver, gallbladder, lung, kidney.
Contraindications: None, caution with constipation though.
