Constituents: Steroidal saponins, Mucilage, Flavonoids, Alkaloids; trigonelline, Bitters, coumarins, Salicylate 60µg per mL.
Actions: Expectorant, Hypoglycaemic, Galactagogue, Mucolytic, Laxative, Demulcent, Anti-inflammatory, Nutritive, Orexigenic, Anti-cholesterol.
Indications:
Bronchitis, Coughs, Sinus congestion.
Hyperglycaemia, Diabetes mellitus.
Lack of breast milk.
IBS, IBD.
Stomach and duodenal ulcers, diverticulosis, Constipation due to lack of dietary fiber.
Boils, wound healing, ulcers.
Lowers LDL.
Anorexia - stimulates appetite.
High cholesterol.
Herbal extract: 15-30mL per week.
