Lily of the Valley, Convallaria majalis

Constituents: Cardiac glycosides, Flavonoids, Saponins, Tannins, Volatile oils.
Actions: Stimulant, Antidepressant, Diuretic, Antispasmodic, Vasodilator.
Indications:
Of the heart, cardiac arrhythmia, cardiac failure, shortness of breath, fatigue, mitral valve problems, palpitations, irregular heart beat, hypotension.
Mental depression, confusion due to little oxygen, concussion, stroke.
Stops re-absorption of potassium and sodium.
Congestive heart failure, cardiac oedema, nephritis, prevents thrombosis.
Cataracts.
Herbal extract: 10-40mL per week.
Energetics: Neutral, sweet, bitter moist.
Meridians: heart.
Contraindications: This herb is mildly toxic, use for 10 days than break for 10 days.
Do not use with potassium deficiency, heart medication, Berries are poisonous.
