Parts used: Resin.
Constituents: Essential oil, Gums, Bitter, Resin.
Actions: Anti-microbial, Astringent, Anti-cholesterol, Carminative, Anti-inflammatory, Anticatarrhal.
Indications:
Hypercholesterolemia, Catarrh, Common cold, Sinusitis, Aphthous Ulcers, Abrasions, Pharyngitis, Respiratory catarrh, Gingivitis, Tonsillitis, Fungal infections.
BHP specific, for Mouth ulcers, Gingivitis and Pharyngitis.
Tincture 1:5, 10-30mL per week.
Energetics: Bitter, warm, dry. Dosha: KV- P+.
Meridians: spleen, lung, liver.
