Constituents: Essential oils including azulene that turns blue on distillation.
Bitter compounds, Flavonoids glycosides, Choline.
Actions: Antispasmodic, Carminative, Bitter tonic, Sedative, Analgesic mild, Anti-inflammatory.
Indications:
Colic, Flatulence, IBS.
Indigestion, anorexia.
Migraines, neuralgia, insomnia.
Acne, eczema.
Herbal extract: 30-60mL per week.
Energetics: Cooling, bitter and pungent.
Caution: Large doses can cause vomiting.
