Constituents: Volatile oil including Thujone, Bitter, Sesquiterpene lactones.
Actions: Antiseptic, Astringent, Emmenagogue, Febrifuge, Stimulant, Tonic, Stomachic, Vermifuge, Cholagogue, Antispasmodic, Mild blood cleanser, Anthelmintic, Nervine, Bitter tonic (stimulates hydrochloric acid, anorexia).
Indications:
Liver problems, Intestinal worms, Gall stones, Mal absorption, Jaundice, Colic, Sciatica, Muscle cramps, delayed menstruation, Anorexia.
BHP Specific: Amenorrhoea, associated with neurosis and threat worms in children.
Herbal extract: 30-60mL per week.
